Join us for Wonderful Life, a portrait in verse and music of Patrizia Cavalli, one of the most cherished contemporary Italian poets. Through a combination of poems, prose, and songs, the performance invites us into a rich and diverse poetic realm, with particular emphasis on the central theme of love—an ever-open theatre filled with its precarious obsessions, jealousies, ecstasy, and melancholy. Yet love is not the sole focus; every object that this poem touches becomes lighter, more vibrant, and more intense.
Performed in the theatre and narrated by Iaia Forte through an engaging storytelling approach, accompanied by the music and songs of Diana Tejera, these verses allow us to experience the irresistible joy embedded within Cavalli's poetry.
