Gonzalo Robledo is a Colombian producer and journalist who has been living in Japan since 1981. He has served as a correspondent in Japan for Agencia Efe and the newspaper El País and has produced documentaries and reports about Japan for Televisión Española (TVE), Canal Cuatro (Spain), Euronews, ESPN (USA), and other Spanish-speaking channels around the world. From 1994 to 2010, he wrote a column on comparative culture for International Press, a Spanish-language weekly published in Tokyo. He resumed this column in 2020 for the Colombian newspaper El Espectador. A collection of these columns has just been published in Spain as a book titled Un país sin besos (Evohé Editions).
