Véronique Béghain is a French-English literary translator, professor of literature, and director of the master's programme in translation at Bordeaux Montaigne University. She specialises in American art and literature, as well as translation and translation studies. Her research includes essays on American literature and translation. In addition to her academic work, she is an active translator, dedicated to promoting literature from the English-speaking world into French.
