This lecture by Véronique Béghain, a French-English literary translator and lecturer at Bordeaux Montaigne University, will address the current state of the translation field in France and Europe. It will cover topics such as organisation, production, professional training, relationships with publishers, and future developments. The webinar is the first in a 10-part training programme organised by the French Institute in Japan, in collaboration with the ASFORED School of Literary Translation, and is tailored for both novice and experienced translators.
