After completing language studies in Gothenburg he started working as a journalist, first at the regional Smålandsposten, then at the evening newspaper Expressen. After that he started his own media consultant business, and later on also founded the media company OTW. However, after twenty years with his own paper, TV and communication he decided to start anew. He sold everything he owned and became a writer.
