Emma Karinsdotter, born in 1985, grew up in the picturesque town of Ronneby, often referred to as the heart of "The Garden of Sweden." Before her debut as a children's author, she worked in the book and music industries as a project manager and concert organiser. Her first book, Lisbet and the Samba King, made a significant impact on the children's fiction scene when it was published in 2017. Zany, exuberant, and thought-provoking, it celebrates the diversity of children. Her second book, The Isle of a Thousand Stars, is a captivating tale of magic, adventure, and healing. Often compared to a modern-day Astrid Lindgren, Karinsdotter’s works have already won the hearts of a new generation of readers.
