Shuntaro Nakamura was born 1997 in Nagano, Japan. He is currently pursuing his PhD in German language and literature at Kyoto University. His master's thesis (2023) is entitled “Die Umweltkrise und der Körper in Christa Wolffs“ (The Environmental Crisis and the body in Christa Wolff's Summer Play). He has published a partial translation of Esther Kinski's Rombo in the translation anthology Kaigai Bungaku Kiko V (2023). He also translates foreign articles for Sekai, the web magazine Fune to Kaze, and other publications.
