Keiko Morishita

Translator, Researcher of Tove Jansson

Translator and researcher Keiko Morishita moved to Finland in 1994 to pursue her interest in the Moomin Books by Tove Jansson (1914–2001). She graduated from the Department of Aesthetics, Comparative Literature, and Theatre Science at the University of Helsinki. Along with researching and writing about Moomin and Finland, she coordinates various cultural events and works as a translator and interpreter. Her most important translations include the Little My Story picture book series and Moomin and Tove Jansson: The Life and Work of an Artist Who Loved Freedom. She was an associate producer for the film Kamome Diner.
